I always start with luxury skin prep, using 24k gold oils or intense hydration, so that even with bold graphic liners or heavy editorial pigments, your skin looks fresh, healthy, and never cakey under studio lights.

When you are working on a creative project, the makeup needs to hold its own against studio lighting and high-definition cameras. My process starts with a collaborative mood board where we align on the aesthetic—whether it is raw, dewy skin for a commercial shoot or sharp, dark tones for a high-fashion editorial.

Why HD & Airbrush Matter

For editorial work, skin texture is everything. I rely on HD and airbrush techniques because they provide a sweat-resistant, 4K-ready finish that stays flawless for hours. This isn't about masking your face; it is about evening out the skin tone and correcting texture so the focus stays on the creative elements, like graphic winged liners, halo eyes, or glossy textures.

My On-Set Approach

I don't just apply makeup and leave. I stay through the shoot to manage touch-ups, monitor shine, and adjust the makeup as we transition between looks. If we are doing multiple changes—say, moving from a clean, dewy look to a bold, heavy-glam statement—I plan the sequence to protect your skin integrity while keeping the transitions fast and efficient.
