Bharatanatyam Stage Performances and Thematic Event Productions
From large-scale cultural festivals to intimate temple recitals, I bring stories to life through classical Bharatanatyam. Here is a look at my past stage productions and collaborative performances.
This is the poster for "Matr̥ - The Infinite Cord," a special Mother's Day premiere at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre. I often collaborate with my family of artists on thematic productions.
An announcement for the "Youth in Dance 2023" festival, where I presented "Karunaada Maanye." I enjoy performing in festivals that celebrate poetry and lyricism in dance.
A poster for a Bharatanatyam recital during the Navarathri Utsava at Horanadu. I choreograph and perform pieces that are suited for traditional and temple festival settings.
A personal invitation to our duet performance, "Shiva Unbound." I believe in connecting directly with the audience, and I can help create simple, effective promotional videos for your show.
About this collection
Organizing a classical dance event requires more than just performance skills; it involves coordinating acoustics, lighting, and narrative flow. Whether I am dancing at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre or a temple festival in Horanadu, I manage these production details personally to ensure the performance resonates with the audience and fits the specific venue requirements.
My approach to stage performances is rooted in storytelling. Whether it is a full-scale thematic production like 'Matr̥ - The Infinite Cord' or a traditional recital, the goal is always to create a genuine connection. I manage the artistic direction from start to finish. This includes script research, coordinating with vocalists and percussionists, and planning lighting cues. For group ensembles, I focus on geometry and synchronization, ensuring the choreography adapts to the stage size, be it a large auditorium like ADA Rangamandira or a smaller studio space.
I am comfortable working with diverse settings. I have performed across India and am experienced in tailoring my repertoire to fit the vibe of your event, whether it is a public festival, corporate cultural program, or a private celebration. I work closely with organisers to ensure all technical requirements—like sound mixing and visual aesthetics—are seamless, allowing the dance to take center stage.
