Custom MS Frame Fabrication for Sturdy Roofing
A long-lasting roof depends entirely on what lies beneath. I build custom mild steel (MS) frames on-site, using heavy-duty welding and proper rust protection to ensure your structure stays solid for years.
My team and I are personally involved in every project. Here we are on-site, inspecting and assembling the mild steel frame for a terrace roof, making sure the load distribution is correct.
This video shows the scale of a typical terrace roof frame I build. You can see the network of beams and supports that create a rigid and durable structure, ready for any type of roofing material.
Proper preparation is key to a long-lasting roof. This clip shows my workers applying a protective yellow paint coating to the mild steel pipes before they are used in a roofing structure to prevent rust.
This shows the process from start to finish. We begin by painting the steel for durability and then erect the heavy structure on-site according to fabrication standards.
This is a good view of a pergola frame being built. The clean lines and strong vertical posts show the precision I bring to my fabrication work, creating a solid base for the final roof.
About The Foundation: MS Frame Fabrication
The biggest mistake I see is skimping on steel thickness. On every site, I personally verify the load requirement before we cut a single pipe. Whether it is for a heavy tile roof or a glass pergola, I strictly use 14 to 16 gauge MS pipes, painted on-site with red oxide primer and enamel to stop rust before it starts. If your frame is weak, your roof will fail, regardless of the sheet you put on top.
Structure is everything. When you look at a finished roof, you do not see the frame, but that frame is what stands between your home and the heavy Bangalore rain.
The Fabrication Process
I do not believe in one-size-fits-all kits. Every terrace, balcony, or industrial space has different dimensions and wind loads. I visit your site to take exact measurements. We fabricate the frame on-site, which allows us to adjust the welding and beam placement to fit your space perfectly.
Why the Frame Matters
- Gauge Precision: We use 14 to 16 gauge mild steel pipes. Anything thinner cannot support the weight of heavy materials like Mangalore tiles or toughened glass over time.
- Heavy-Duty Welding: My team uses proper arc welding. We do not do spot-welding; we ensure full-bead welds for maximum structural integrity.
- Anti-Rust Defense: Steel is vulnerable to moisture. Before installation, every pipe gets a thorough application of red oxide primer followed by an enamel top coat. This prevents the deep-set rust that weakens the structure from the inside out.
Whether you are planning a PUF insulated shed to keep your terrace cool or an elegant glass pergola for an outdoor seating area, the fabrication of the MS frame is the most critical step. We ensure all load distribution is calculated so the structure remains rock solid. If you are worried about leakage or sagging, it is almost always due to a weak, poorly fabricated frame. We fix that at the start.
