Built to Last: How We Engineer Your Outdoor Space
See the precision that goes into our structural framework. We focus on heavy-duty materials and expert engineering to ensure every pergola we build stays rock-solid for decades.
This image captures our team during the crucial framework installation phase. It shows the heavy-duty mild steel structure being assembled on-site, forming the robust skeleton for a future glass pergola.
Precision is key. Our fabricators are seen here taking exact measurements on the installed frame, ensuring that every component aligns perfectly before the glass panels are mounted. This attention to detail guarantees a flawless fit and finish.
A wider angle of the work in progress. This view shows the scale of the terrace project and how the custom-fabricated pergola structure is designed to fit the specific dimensions of the space.
Our team's expertise and coordination are evident on site. We work efficiently and cleanly to erect the pergola framework, demonstrating the strength and stability of the structure even before the roof is installed.
About Built to Last: Our Process
When you look at our structures, the secret isn't just in the design, it is in the steel. We exclusively use 14-gauge mild steel treated with anti-rust epoxy primers and architectural-grade powder coating because we do not believe in maintenance hassles after the project is done. What you see being welded on-site is a frame engineered specifically to withstand Bangalore's varying climate, ensuring your investment remains stable for the long term.
Engineering Excellence
We do not just place structures on a terrace. We anchor them. Our process begins with a precision site survey using laser measurements to ensure the framework aligns perfectly with your existing architecture.
The Anatomy of Our Structures
- Primary Skeleton: We utilize 4x4 or 3x3 inch hollow tubular mild steel sections in 14 or 16 gauge thickness. This provides the structural integrity required to support glass roofs and heavy-duty panels without sagging or warping.
- Surface Protection: Every joint and beam undergoes a rigorous treatment process. We apply anti-rust epoxy primers followed by a double coat of either enamel or powder coating to prevent corrosion from rain and humidity.
- Weatherproofing: We use UV-resistant structural silicone sealants on all glass joints, while EPDM rubber gaskets are applied to our UPVC sliding systems. This creates a tight seal against wind, dust, and Bangalore's seasonal heavy rains.
The Build Process
- Design Approval: You receive 3D structural drawings before we cut a single piece of metal. This allows you to verify the dimensions and the flow of the structure against your terrace layout.
- Fabrication: We bring pre-measured components to the site to minimize the welding work required at your home, ensuring a cleaner, quieter, and more efficient installation.
- Assembly: Our technicians use industrial-grade TIG and MIG welding to ensure the joints are not just aesthetically smooth, but structurally superior to standard manual welding.
Every project concludes with a final quality check where we inspect the drainage, the locking mechanisms on the sliding panels, and the integrity of the weather sealing. We build it once, and we build it to last.
