About Paws, Prints & Pottery
I use non-toxic, pet-safe stoneware clay that is soft enough for a clear impression but sturdy enough to last. Whether your furry friend is calm or a bit of a wiggle-worm, we take our time to guide them through the process so you get that perfect, detailed print without any stress.
How it Works
Coming to my studio in Jeevan Bima Nagar isn't about making a perfect replica, it is about capturing a moment. We start by getting your pet comfortable with the space. Once they are relaxed, we gently press their paw into a slab of high-fired stoneware clay.
Don't worry about them sitting still. I have worked with all sorts of pets, from calm seniors to high-energy puppies, and we work around their comfort levels. After the print is captured, you can add their name or the date by hand. I then handle the firing and glazing process to ensure your piece is durable and food-safe if you want to use it as a trinket tray or display it on a wall.
Why a Ceramic Keepsake?
Unlike store-bought frames, these clay pieces are made of earth and fire. They hold the actual texture of your pet's paw. Each piece is hand-finished, meaning it carries the marks of the day we made it.
Practical Details
- Safety First: All materials are non-toxic and pet-safe.
- Timeline: Because each piece needs to dry slowly, be fired in the kiln, and then glazed, it usually takes a few weeks before you can take your finished keepsake home.
- What to Bring: Just yourself, your pet, and a treat or two to keep them happy while we work. I handle the rest of the supplies.
This is a unique way to bond. It is messy, it is loud sometimes, and it is entirely authentic. Come make something real.
