Handcrafted Sarees and Designer Ethnic Wear
Welcome to my personal edit of manSi. This is a collection of the pieces that tell our story best, from handpicked Banarasi silks to the designs I’ve created for our community's biggest celebrations.
Our beautiful bride Jothi, glowing in a custom-curated off-white Kanjeevaram silk saree for her special day. We designed the entire look, from the hand-embroidered blouse to the traditional temple jewellery, to make her moment unforgettable.
This is where the magic happens. Watch the hands of a skilled artisan bring an old saree back to life with traditional block printing. This is my passion, transforming cherished memories into wearable art.
I fell in love with this rare combination of bottle green and baby pink in a classic Kanjeevaram weave. It’s these unique finds that I love to bring home to my manSi family.
A moment of pure joy. Our 'Banaras Beauties' winning first place at the Gowda Princess fashion show. These wonderful women are not models, but my clients and friends, which makes this victory even sweeter.
My daughter and I on one of our sourcing trips in Banaras. These journeys are the heart of my work, allowing us to meet the weavers, hear their stories, and handpick every single saree with love.
The manSi gang in Bali. It brings me so much joy to see my designs, like these breezy tropical dresses, being a part of your happy travels and creating memories around the world.
Look at that radiant smile. This is the beautiful result of our revamp service, where we took a plain Kanjeevaram and gave it a new life with intricate block prints, making it perfect for a grand celebration.
About this collection
Every piece you see here, from the heavy Kanjeevarams to our breezy vacation dresses, starts with a real journey. My daughter and I travel directly to weavers in places like Banaras and Kolkata to handpick these fabrics, ensuring what you wear has a story and a soul, not just a price tag. If you see a look you love, message me directly so we can chat about the fit, the fabric, and how to style it for your next celebration.
When I started manSi, I wanted to create more than a shop; I wanted a space that feels like family. This featured collection is a glimpse into the heart of that work. You will find a mix of our traditional handloom treasures and the modern, comfortable fusion wear I design for everyday life.
The manSi Approach
- Sourcing: We don't just buy fabrics; we meet the weavers. Whether it is sourcing a 45-day Meenakari weave from Banaras or finding the right mulberry silk for a Kanjeevaram, every item is chosen because it feels right to me.
- Customization: Fashion should be personal. If you love a saree but need a specific blouse cut, or if you have a traditional piece that needs a modern refresh, my studio in Bengaluru is where we make that happen. I specialize in upcycling old sarees with custom block prints, giving your mother’s Kanjeevaram a new lease on life.
- Celebrating You: Whether you are dressing up for a 'habba' (festival) or looking for a light dress for a vacation, my goal is for you to feel graceful and confident. I often see my clients—my 'manSis'—wearing these pieces at weddings and fashion shows, and that joy is why I do this.
If you are visiting from Google, you might be looking for a specific type of drape or a custom outfit. Take a look through the gallery, and if something catches your eye, send me a message. I love hearing about the events you are planning and helping you pick the perfect piece from my collection.

Hi, I am Sudha. manSi is my way of celebrating women through art and textiles. When you browse these collections, you are seeing the result of countless train rides and weaver conversations, and I only bring home what I would proudly wear myself.
