About The Grind: On & Off the Court
Our outdoor sessions are rugged by design. You will be on concrete courts in Andheri, Borivali, or Navi Mumbai, facing the elements exactly like a real game. We do not train in AC bubbles because matches are not played in them. Whether it is a humid Mumbai morning or a light drizzle, we are out there running agility ladders and mastering our dribble. If you are not ready to get a little court dust on your jersey, this might not be the right spot, but if you want to actually build your game, show up.
The grind is not just about raw effort. At Maniac Basketball Academy, it is about intentional repetition. Whether you are a beginner learning the Figure 8 drill or a seasoned player running 5v5 scrimmages, our curriculum focuses on the details that often get ignored.
We operate on open-air, non-AC hard courts. This is a tactical choice. By training in varying Mumbai temperatures, we condition your body to last all four quarters of a real game. Our 60-minute sessions are structured to be intense:
- 15 minutes of dynamic warm-ups and agility ladder work.
- 20 minutes of technical skill development including ball handling and passing mechanics.
- 25 minutes of game-situation drills or scrimmage matches.
We run sessions across multiple hubs, from Lokhandwala and Malad to Navi Mumbai. Every batch is kept to 15-20 students to ensure our coaches can actually see your form and provide immediate feedback. You will see us training in the rain because the ball does not stop bouncing when the weather turns. If you are ready to put in the work, we have a spot for you on the court.
