Basketball fundamentals are where it all starts. Whether you are just learning to dribble or ready to run competitive scrimmages, our sessions focus on the hustle, skill, and smarts to get you court-ready.

About The Grind: Training & Drills

We don’t believe in just standing in lines. Our sessions are built around high-repetition drills like cone maneuvering and agility ladder work, followed by controlled scrimmages. If you are a beginner, we focus on fundamental hand-eye coordination, while our Elite competition batch drills position-specific moves like Euro-steps and screen-and-roll tactics to get you game-ready.

Success on the court isn't accidental. It comes from the work you put in when no one is watching. At Crossovers Academy, we take a hands-on approach to youth basketball coaching, training U-12 to U-16 boys and girls with a focus on technique and conditioning.

Our Training Approach

We are FIBA licensed coaches, which means we bring a structured, technical perspective to our training. We operate out of two main locations: Crossovers Basketball Academy in Powai and the KPC Public School court in Kharghar.

Our programs are split into two intensities:

  • Standard 3-Day Foundation Training: Perfect for players looking to build a base. We cover agility, BEEF shooting mechanics, and half-court rules.
  • Elite 6-Day Competition Batch: Designed for those preparing for local circuits like YMCA or Bandra Hoopsters. This involves high-intensity interval training, advanced tactical play, and specialization for guards and forwards.

What You Will Learn

We emphasize the 'Crossovers' mentality—discipline, resilience, and a no-excuses attitude. You will learn to:

  • Maneuver through cones and handle the ball under defensive pressure.
  • Master agility exercises to improve your footwork and speed on outdoor hard courts.
  • Read the floor in 3x3 and 5x5 formats so you can play smart, not just hard.
