Featured Makeup Portfolio: High-Definition Looks for Every Occasion
A showcase of my professional journey, from TV sets and editorial shoots to timeless South Indian bridal transformations.
This is the kind of timeless South Indian bridal look I create for jewellery ad campaigns. The focus is on creating flawless, camera-ready skin that complements the richness of the silk saree and the intricate temple jewellery, ensuring the model looks radiant under studio lights.
I believe in honest makeup. This transformation shows how I work with real skin, including acne and texture, to create a stunning, glamorous look for a TV shoot with Colors Kannada. My goal is never to mask, but to enhance with HD makeup techniques.
It's always a proud moment to see my clients succeed. Here is the wonderful Sushma K. Rao, for whom I did the makeup, winning the 'Mane Mecchida Sose' award at the Colors Kannada Anubandha Awards.
Editorial work allows for more creativity. This is an example of an artistic makeup look, featuring bold face paint and dramatic eyes, perfect for fashion photoshoots that require a unique and expressive style.
A glimpse into a commercial shoot for a jewellery brand. This look features a soft glam eye and bold lip to highlight the traditional gold jewellery, creating a look that is both elegant and captivating on camera.
Here I am in my element, working with the lovely Nadeera Banu. This behind-the-scenes shot captures the process of creating a flawless reception look, complete with a diamond choker and a radiant smile.
A quick but important reminder. Many images you see online are heavily edited, but I believe in showing the real texture of the skin. My work focuses on expert application, not digital alteration, for a look that's beautiful in person and on camera.
About this collection
When you look through these images, you are seeing real skin. I do not use heavy digital editing to hide textures or pores. Whether it is a high-definition TV broadcast or an outdoor wedding shoot, my approach focuses on techniques that hold up under harsh lighting without looking caked on. You will get the same, honest result in person as you see in this portfolio.
My Approach to HD Makeup
Makeup for the camera is different from everyday wear. When you are under hot studio lights or in front of 4K cameras, your skin needs products that stay put. I use high-end, transfer-resistant base products like Urban Decay and Charlotte Tilbury. My goal is to create a 'camera-ready' finish that looks flawless on screen but feels comfortable for you to wear for hours.
Why I Don't Use Filters
You might notice that I post a lot of 'before and after' shots. This is intentional. Many portfolios online rely heavily on airbrushing apps to achieve that 'poreless' look. I believe in showing you the reality. If you have acne, pigmentation, or uneven texture, we work with it. We do not pretend it does not exist. My job is to enhance your features while keeping your natural skin texture intact, ensuring you look like yourself, just more polished.
Experience That Matters
My portfolio spans a wide range of styles, from traditional bridal looks for temple weddings to avant-garde face painting for fashion editorials. I have spent years working on TV sets for channels like Colors Kannada and commercial campaigns for major jewellery brands. This experience has taught me how to handle high-pressure environments, quick look changes, and lighting setups that would break down lesser makeup. When you book me, you are getting an artist who understands the technical requirements of photography just as much as the art of application.
