About Editorial & Media Makeup
Realities of Media Makeup
I know a lot of folks think makeup for shoots means just putting on some foundation and calling it a day. But honestly, media work is no cakewalk - early morning calls, long hours, hardly any sleep sometimes. Still, I find it totally worth it when the final look pops on camera.
My Style: Honest, Not Overdone
I’m all about making you look like you, just way better on screen. With camera-ready skin finish, I use HD makeup for photoshoots so every detail looks good, but never cakey or fake. If you have acne or texture, I work with it - not pretend it isn’t there. I’ll also be straight with you: that "poreless" skin on Insta? Most times, it’s editing, not just makeup.
On-Set Experience
My work has taken me everywhere - TV sets (like for Colors Kannada), ad campaigns with South Indian bridal ad makeup for jewellery brands, and creative fashion photoshoot looks that get pretty wild sometimes. I’ve done dramatic eyes, bold lips, and even artistic face paint for editorial gigs. I also work with Kannada celebs and influencers for their shoots, making sure they look sharp and true to their style.
Teamwork Makes the Magic
On shoots, it’s never just about me. I love collaborating with photographers, stylists, and directors. Understanding everyone’s vision helps me nail the brief and deliver makeup that just fits right for the whole shoot vibe.
