Classic, graceful, and timeless. I focus on creating traditional makeup looks that celebrate the beauty of silk sarees and South Indian jewellery without masking your natural features.

A beautiful half-saree look for the inspirational Rashmi Prabhakar. The makeup is bright and fresh, with a focus on radiant skin, a defined red lip, and eyes that sparkle, creating a perfect festive look.

A lovely photoshoot with two sisters in traditional sarees. I created complementary makeup looks for them that enhanced their natural beauty, focusing on clean skin and soft definition for a timeless family portrait.

A close-up look at a soft and pretty traditional makeup style. The focus is on a bright smile, subtle eye makeup, and a classic braided hairstyle, perfect for any festive occasion or family gathering.

Simplicity is often the most beautiful. For this shoot, I created a very simple and elegant look with a clean base, a classic winged eyeliner, and a natural lip color to complement the beautiful maroon silk saree.

About this collection

Silk sarees often command a lot of attention, so I usually balance the look with a breathable, HD base that handles camera flashes well. If you are planning to wear heavy temple jewellery, we will keep the eye makeup soft and sophisticated to ensure the focus remains on your overall traditional elegance rather than making the face look too busy.

When we talk about traditional makeup, it is easy to get carried away with bold colors. My approach is different. I believe the goal of a traditional look should be to enhance your features, not hide them under layers of foundation. Whether you are wearing a Kanjeevaram for a wedding, a half-saree for a family function, or getting ready for a festive puja, the makeup should feel fresh, radiant, and true to your skin.

Why HD Makeup Matters for Tradition

Most traditional events involve harsh lighting or natural sunlight. Using HD products ensures your skin looks smooth and 'real' on camera without appearing cakey. I work with high-quality, long-wear brands like Urban Decay and Charlotte Tilbury because I know you need that makeup to hold up through long ceremonies, sweat, and unpredictable Bangalore weather.

What I Include in the Service

  • Skin-First Approach: I don't pretend texture or acne doesn't exist; I work with your skin to create a flawless, breathable finish.
  • Saree Draping: Traditional attire is all about the drape. I provide expert assistance with pleating and setting your Kanjeevaram or silk sarees so they look crisp.
  • Hair Styling: Whether it's a clean braid with gajra or a soft bun, I style your hair to hold shape, ensuring your jewellery and accessories stay secure.
  • Personalized Consultation: Before we start, I listen to what you want. You get to decide if we go for a bold lip or a subtle, natural glow.

I operate out of my studio in Rajajinagar and also travel to venues across Bengaluru. If you have a specific mood board in mind, let me know when you reach out.
