For men's grooming, my philosophy is to enhance, not conceal. I created this super minimal, natural look for an ad shoot, focusing on perfecting the skin for the camera without it looking like makeup.

Men’s grooming on set is about invisible correction. I focus on managing shine and evening out skin tones so you look like yourself, just without the distraction of oily patches or uneven texture under harsh HD lighting. Whether you are on a film set or shooting for a catalog, the goal is consistency that lasts all day.

When working under studio lights or shooting in high humidity, even the best skin can look oily or washed out. My approach to men's grooming is technical—it is about creating a base that holds up to HD and 4K cameras while remaining completely undetectable to the naked eye.
My Technical Process
- Anti-Shine & Base Work: I use specific primers and light powders to control oil production. This prevents that reflective glare you often see on video, ensuring the focus stays on your expression, not the skin texture.
- Continuity Logs: For TVC and commercial shoots, continuity is everything. I keep detailed notes on every look to ensure your makeup is identical across multiple angles, sets, and days of shooting.
- Sweat Proofing: If we are shooting outdoors or in warm studio environments, I use sweat-resistant techniques that keep your face looking fresh for 10-12 hour shifts.
- Standby Support: I don't just apply makeup and leave. I stay on set to monitor the director's screen, ready to step in for quick touch-ups or to fix flyaways between takes.
