About Male Makeup & Grooming
On set, male grooming is less about 'makeup' and more about controlling texture and reflection. I focus on removing shine, correcting uneven skin tones, and setting hair so it stays in place under bright studio lights. When I am on a shoot, I do not just apply product and leave; I stay close to the monitor with my kit, watching for any sweat or stray hair that could spoil your take, ready for that quick touch-up.
High-definition cameras pick up every imperfection, which is why my approach to male grooming is strictly functional. It starts with skin prep using matte-finish products to prevent strobe bounce-back and anti-shine powders that hold up under heavy studio lights. Whether you are filming a TV commercial, a corporate video, or a music video, I ensure the makeup looks invisible to the naked eye while looking perfect on screen.
My kit is stocked specifically for durability. I use long-lasting base products from brands like MAC and Kryolan to manage sweat, especially for dancers or performers shooting long hours in humid conditions.
I have worked on various sets across Mumbai, from intense TV shoots to creative editorial photoshoots. My role goes beyond the makeup chair. I am typically on standby for the entire duration of your shoot for continuity maintenance, ensuring that your lip color, hair texture, or skin tone remains consistent across every take.
