About this collection
On a high-energy shoot, the makeup isn't just about how it looks; it is about how it holds up for 12 hours under blazing lights. I do not just apply the product and walk away. I am constantly standing by the monitor to catch a stray shine, a flyaway hair, or a lipstick smudge before the director calls for another take. My priority is ensuring the look is consistent from the first frame to the last.
Working on a commercial set or a music video requires a different level of precision compared to event makeup. When you are filming in HD or 4K, every detail is magnified. My role is to bridge the gap between what the director visualizes and what the camera captures.
Continuity and Precision
Continuity is the backbone of any video project. I keep a detailed log of every look—the exact shade of lip color, the depth of the contour, and the specific texture of the skin. If we shoot scene A on Monday and scene B on Wednesday, the actor’s makeup will look identical on screen. I use specialized, camera-ready products from brands like MAC and Huda Beauty, ensuring the base is flash-friendly and sweat-proof enough to survive outdoor locations in Goa or the hot lights of a Bangalore studio.
Supporting the Team
My kit is organized for speed. I operate out of a compact run bag, allowing me to move quickly between the makeup station and the set floor. I provide grooming for male actors—focusing on anti-shine and under-eye concealing—to ensure they look natural and polished without appearing 'made up.'
Whether we are shooting a high-fashion editorial or a fast-paced catalog, I work alongside the stylist and the photographer to ensure the makeup complements the lighting and the brand's aesthetic. You will find me checking the monitor as closely as the director to fix issues invisible to the naked eye. If you need a makeup artist who understands the technical demands of a production schedule and the need for seamless, long-lasting results, let's talk.
