My Approach to Luminous Skin

Creating a 'no-makeup' look is often harder than full glam because every detail is amplified under a high-resolution lens. My approach focuses on enhancing the model's natural features rather than masking them. I work closely with photographers and lighting directors during pre-production to understand the intended color grade and lighting setup.

Why Texture Matters

• Strobe-Resistant Base: For commercial work, I prioritize products that withstand high-intensity photography lights. This prevents the 'shiny' effect that often ruins raw images, keeping the skin looking fresh from the first shot to the last.
• Precision Grooming: I don't just focus on the face. My process includes body makeup and clavicle highlighting, which creates a cohesive, polished appearance essential for fashion lookbooks and hero assets.
• Adaptable Finishes: Whether the brief calls for a matte editorial aesthetic or a dewy, youthful look, I layer products strategically. This allows me to build coverage that moves with the face, ensuring the makeup doesn't crack or settle into fine lines during long shoots.

Working on Set

My primary goal is continuity. When I am on set, I perform regular monitor checks to ensure the hair and makeup match perfectly across different takes. For video work, I use specialized 'invisible' techniques for anti-shine and skin evening, ensuring the talent looks just as natural on video as they do in person. Whether you need a team for a 12-hour ad film shift or a quick session for a clothing brand, I bring the same level of technical precision to every project.
