About Traditional South Indian Bridal Artistry

My South Indian bridal makeup isn’t just for photos. It is built to survive the entire muhurtham, including the heat from the homam. I use specific waterproof and sweat-resistant techniques so your matte base stays flawless from the first ritual to the final ceremony. We will also coordinate the Poola Jada and saree draping to ensure every piece of your temple jewellery sits exactly where it should.

Your Muhurtham, Handled

I know how hectic a traditional South Indian wedding can get. Between the heat of the fire during the homam, the weight of the temple jewellery, and the sheer length of the ceremonies, you need makeup that holds its own. My signature 'drag-proof' matte technique is designed exactly for this. It keeps your base from moving, smudging, or oxidizing, no matter how many relatives hug you or how much the weather changes.

The Full Traditional Package

A beautiful look is about more than just foundation. It is the full picture. I personally handle the finishing touches that pull your look together:

  • Poola Jada: I style your fresh flower braids and handle the fixing of any false hair (Savaram) to ensure it stays secure.
  • Saree Draping: Kanjeevarams are heavy and intricate. I perform professional structural draping—including pleating and box-folding—so you can move comfortably without worrying about your pallu.
  • Jewellery Setting: I secure your heavy temple jewellery sets to ensure they are balanced and won't hurt during the long ceremony.

Why Choose My Studio?

Whether you are visiting my studio in Mahalakshmi Layout or want me to travel to your venue in Bengaluru, my goal remains the same: I want you to feel confident. Many of my clients come to me nervous about how they will look, and seeing that shift to a smile when they see their reflection—that is my biggest reward (tumba khushi aagutte!). I also offer HD airbrush options if you prefer a lighter, 'glass-skin' finish, though for traditional weddings, my waterproof matte finish is usually the crowd favorite.
