About Our Makeup & Hair Academy
In my 35-day certification course, you do not just watch me work—you pick up the brush from day one. I give every student individual attention, ensuring you master everything from skin prep to saree draping. By the time we reach your final portfolio day, you will have the technique, the confidence, and the professional photos to start taking your own clients immediately.
When students join my Mahalakshmi Layout studio, they often arrive nervous. Many have never held a makeup brush before. My goal is to shift that fear into professional confidence in just five weeks. We start with the basics—understanding skin types, color theory, and product knowledge—before moving into heavy, hands-on practice.
We cover everything you need to succeed: traditional South Indian bridal looks, modern reception glam, and waterproof techniques. You will learn how to handle the entire styling process, including intricate hairstyles and perfect saree draping.

- Portfolio Preparation: The final days of the course are dedicated to your portfolio shoot. You will work with real models, learn to style them, and create professional-grade looks that you can show your future clients.
