For your traditional South Indian Muhurtham, I don't just pin flowers. I use hair extensions (Savaram) to build that full, authentic braid and weave your real Jasmine or Rose garlands directly into the plait so they don't droop or fall. It’s all about making sure the weight of your temple jewelry like the Billas and Rakodi feels balanced and secure, not heavy, throughout the long rituals.
My approach to South Indian bridal hair
For Muhurthams, the goal is volume and durability. I use professional false hair extensions (Savaram) to give you that long, thick braid style that sits perfectly against heavy Kanjeevaram silks. I handle the entire floral application—whether you want a classic, tight Jasmine string or a specific design with roses. I also secure your heavy temple jewelry like Billas, Rakodi, and Kunjalam tassels using industrial-grade pins so they don't tug or slide during the ceremonies.
Modern styles for Reception and Sangeet
If you're looking for something different for the reception, we can move away from the traditional braid. I specialize in:
