For engagement ceremonies, I often see brides-to-be worried about looking too heavy too early. My approach focuses on skin prep and breathable HD foundation that survives long ceremonies and constant photography. Before you book, we will chat about your outfit color and venue lighting—whether it is a bright day pooja or an evening party, we will ensure the makeup complements the decor without overpowering your natural glow.
I treat the engagement or Varapooja as the warm-up to the big wedding day. It is the perfect time to experiment with your style, and I love helping you figure out exactly what makes you feel beautiful.
Why my pre-wedding service is different
- It is about the glow, not the cover-up: Whether you want that 'no-makeup' makeup look for a pooja or a bit of shimmer for a cocktail night, I listen to you. We can go for subtle, soft glam or something bold.
- Everything is included: You do not need to stress about saree draping or hair. I handle the heavy-duty pinning for those Kanjeevarams and can do traditional braids or modern, loose curls depending on your outfit.
- Product quality: I use high-end brands like MAC, Huda Beauty, and NARS because your skin needs to feel comfortable, not caked in heavy product.
Understanding your needs
Some brides want a pakka traditional Kannada look with a classic bindi and bold eyes. Others want a modern, international aesthetic for their ring ceremony. Because I travel across Bangalore for all my appointments, I am used to working in different home environments and venues. I always bring my own kit, including specialized lighting to ensure the makeup looks perfect in photos.
