About Bridal Hair & Details
One thing I always tell my brides: fresh flowers make all the difference, but the secret is in the prep. When we do a traditional jada (braid), I make sure the extensions are secured properly so you don’t feel the weight, and I use a sturdy pin-and-net technique to keep your mallige hoovu (jasmine) looking fresh even after hours under the mandap hours in the mandap lights. It’s all about feeling comfortable while looking traditional.

Traditional Jada and Floral Styling
For South Indian brides, the jada is iconic. I specialize in setting the traditional jadanagam (hair jewelry) so it sits flat against your braid, preventing it from pulling or shifting. If you love the classic look of mallige hoovu, I recommend getting the freshest jasmine possible on the morning of the event. I handle the entire floral setting, layering the flowers so they look full and lush throughout your ceremony.
Modern Reception & Pre-Wedding Styles
If you're moving away from the braid for a reception or engagement, I love creating soft, romantic curls or elegant updos. I use professional hair extensions to add volume if your natural hair needs a bit of a boost, especially for styles like Hollywood waves or messy buns.
