- Padding: Standard quality foam bust cups inserted for shape and structure.
- Reinforcement: Canvas fusing applied to necklines and plackets to prevent heavy embroidery from sagging.
Finishing Details
- Cut Styles: Options include Princess Cut for contouring, Katori cut, or standard Darted style.
- Edges: Finished with invisible hemming or thread piping in contrasting or matching colors.
- Back & Fasteners: Deep back designs with matching fabric dori, handmade fabric tassels, and rust-proof hooks.
Signature Lehenga Skirt Stitching
Volume Engineering
- Cancan Mesh: Installation of high-grade hard net between layers to create the signature puffed volume.
- Hem Support: Broad canvas belt or horsehair braid attached at the bottom to keep the flare circular while walking.
- Double Lining: Two inner layers included: Satin or Shantoon for shine and Cotton for skin comfort.
Utility & Fit
- Waistband: Reinforced waistband tailored to support heavy skirt weight (2 to 3 kgs).
- Closure: Heavy-duty concealed side zipper with hook closure and adjustable drawstring.
- Kali Cutting: Expert panel cutting to maximize fabric width for the widest possible flare.
Gown & Pre-Draped Saree Stitching
Structural Support
- Bodice Boning: Insertion of plastic stays in the upper torso to maintain shape and prevent sagging in strapless or heavy styles.
- Integrated Cups: Bust cups built directly into the gown structure for a seamless fit.
- Bias Cutting: Specialized cutting technique used for Fish Cut or Mermaid styles to ensure fabric hugs the hips.
Draping & Finish
- Pre-Draping: Pleats pre-stitched and fixed to waist measurements for Indo-western sarees (1-minute wear style).
- Closures: Extra-long invisible zippers (up to 20 inches) used for ease of wearing.
- Lining: Full-length lining attached securely to the main shell fabric.
Structural Alterations & Resizing
Resizing
- Size Reduction: Systematic opening of side seams to reduce sizes (e.g., XL to M) while preserving embroidery alignment.
- Torso Fit: Adjustment of shoulder and armhole depth to eliminate gaping in sleeveless or deep-neck outfits.
Modifications
- Neckline Adjustments: Addition of modesty patches or net panels to cover deep necklines based on preference.
- Sleeve Service: Stitching and attaching sleeves (if fabric is provided inside the garment) with appropriate lining.
- Hemming: Shortening length by hemming individual layers (lining, net, main fabric) separately to maintain flow.

Sometimes you want something sakkath unique (super unique), not just what’s hanging on the rack.

- We stitch custom-stitched blouses for sarees, personalized lehenga design, and made-to-measure ethnic wear. If you want a unique indo-western gown, that’s my jam too.
- If you buy something from my store and the fit isn’t perfect, yochne madbedi (don’t worry). My in-house alteration service will sort it out, whether it’s a size issue or you want to tweak the style a bit.
