About this collection
Whether it is a small corner for a daily pooja or a full mandap for Varamahalakshmi, I focus on using fresh flowers and leaves that stay vibrant throughout the ceremony. I always discuss the layout with you beforehand to ensure the mandap serves as a beautiful focal point without crowding your living space.
I believe that pooja decor is about more than just aesthetics; it is about creating a space where you feel connected to the tradition. My approach is entirely customized to the specific festival or pooja you are hosting.
My Approach to Festival Decor
- Fresh & Authentic: I prioritize the use of seasonal flowers like marigold, chrysanthemum, and jasmine, along with traditional elements like banana leaves, mango leaves, and brass lamps. These bring a natural fragrance and vibrant color to the setup.
- Space Optimization: I understand that these ceremonies often happen in living rooms or pooja rooms. I design setups that maximize your available area, ensuring the decor enhances the space rather than overwhelming it.
- Custom Themes: From the serene setup for a Varamahalakshmi or Srinivasa Kalyanam to the festive spirit of Vinayaka Chaviti, I tailor the colors, props, and backdrops to match the significance of the day.
What I Typically Cover
- Mandap Setup: Floral borders, backdrop drapes, and traditional lighting to frame your idol or photo.
- Entrance Decor: Marigold torans and banana plant arrangements to welcome guests and mark the auspiciousness of the event.
- Ritual Areas: Floor rangoli with flower petals and decorated fruit trays to hold offerings.
I prefer to keep things real and collaborative. If you have a specific vision or a Pinterest board, share it with me. We can work together to blend those ideas with the traditional styles I specialize in. I am comfortable working across Bangalore and always ensure my team leaves the space clean and ready for your rituals.
