Why I Do This
I love seeing a party come alive when people are actually having fun, not just looking at decorations. My thing is making sure there’s something for everyone - from kids running around to adults sneaking another round at the chocolate fountain.
Food That Gets People Talking
I set up fun food stations like a chocolate fountain, popcorn and cotton candy, and an ice cream counter. These are always a hit, especially when people want to grab a quick bite and keep mingling. Sometimes the lines get long, but honestly, that’s where half the gossip happens.
Entertainment for All Ages
I bring in kids party activities that even grown-ups end up joining. Think bouncy castles, ball pits, temporary tattoos, hair braiding, and balloon modelling. If your crowd likes getting creative, I can set up pot painting or fridge magnet making. For those who want a little competition, there’s balloon shooting too.
Making Memories
A themed selfie booth with custom frames is my go-to for parties. People love clicking photos, and it fits any theme - from Jungle to Harry Potter or something totally hatke (different). I can also add event special effects like low-fog machines or cold pyros for those dramatic moments. Sometimes the fog can get a bit much, but it does look cool in photos.
How I Work
I handle all the coordination with artists and vendors, so you don’t have to chase anyone. I try to keep things smooth, but with live events, there’s always a bit of chaos - that’s half the fun. If you want, I can get a photographer or videographer to capture all the madness too.

Gayatri Nishtala
My Story
Hi, I'm Gayatri, the founder of Mahinava Events (since 2018). Events run in my family - my father was in this business before me, and I've carried that legacy into my own work. Born and raised in Bangalore, I'm that person who loves a stylish party but will still drag my husband for a temple date. 'Temple date ki veldamaa?' is my go-to. I do all kinds of decor, but my real love is floral and traditional ceremonies - Seemantham, Gruha Pravesh, Satyanarayan pooja. That's where I put my best work.
My Work
What I Decorate - Traditional South Indian ceremonies (Seemantham, Gruha Pravesh, Half-Saree, Pellikoduku, Upanayanam, poojas), themed birthdays for all ages, and intimate wedding functions.
Where I'm Strongest - Floral and traditional work at the 25,000+ range - banana leaf backdrops, marigold and tuberose, brass lamps, fresh-flower stages. This is the work I love most.
How I Work - Honest about what will look good and what won't. If your idea won't work, I'll tell you. If it will, I'll make it happen.
My Quote, My Quote - I price fairly and I don't negotiate down. I'd rather walk away than do half-hearted work at a lower price.
Where I Work - Whitefield-based, 10km free travel. For 20,000+ jobs I cover anywhere in Bangalore. No destination work outside the city.
Languages I Speak - English, Hindi, Kannada, Telugu. Comfortable with all four, so most Bangalore families can chat with me in whatever feels easiest.
What's Not Included - I focus on decor. Photography, catering and party activities I leave to specialists - mytribe will route those separately.
