These are the extras I add on when I'm already doing the decor for your event. I don't take them as standalone jobs, they come bundled with my decor so one person owns the whole setup on the day.
Food & Snack Counters
Live stations that keep guests mingling, popcorn, cotton candy, an ice cream counter, or a chocolate fountain. Always a hit with kids and adults both.
Activities for Kids
Bouncy castles, ball pits, and hands-on artists, temporary tattoos, hair braiding, and balloon modelling. For a crafty crowd I can set up pot painting or fridge magnet making. These kids party activities keep the little ones busy while the adults relax.
Photo Moments
A themed selfie booth or a 360 photo booth with custom frames and props, so guests walk away with something to remember.
Special Effects
Cold pyros and low-fog machines for cake cutting or grand entries. These are part of my decor work and fold into the decor quote.
How I Work
I source and coordinate these add-ons through my own vendors so you're not chasing anyone. Photography, videography and catering I leave to specialists, mytribe routes those separately.

My Story
Hi, I'm Gayatri, the founder of Mahinava Events (since 2018). Events run in my family - my father was in this business before me, and I've carried that legacy into my own work. Born and raised in Bangalore, I'm that person who loves a stylish party but will still drag my husband for a temple date. 'Temple date ki veldamaa?' is my go-to. I do all kinds of decor, but my real love is floral and traditional ceremonies - Seemantham, Gruha Pravesh, Satyanarayan pooja. That's where I put my best work.
My Work
What I Decorate - Traditional South Indian ceremonies (Seemantham, Gruha Pravesh, Half-Saree, Pellikoduku, Upanayanam, poojas), themed birthdays for all ages, and intimate wedding functions.
Where I'm Strongest - Floral and traditional work at the 25,000+ range - banana leaf backdrops, marigold and tuberose, brass lamps, fresh-flower stages. This is the work I love most.
How I Work - Honest about what will look good and what won't. If your idea won't work, I'll tell you. If it will, I'll make it happen.
My Quote, My Quote - I price fairly and I don't negotiate down. I'd rather walk away than do half-hearted work at a lower price.
Where I Work - Whitefield-based, 10km free travel. For 20,000+ jobs I cover anywhere in Bangalore. No destination work outside the city.
Languages I Speak - English and Telugu are my comfort zone, I'm fluent in both. I get by in Hindi and Kannada too, so most Bangalore families can chat with me in whatever feels easiest.
What's Not Included - My core is decor. Party activities and entertainment I can add on when I'm already doing your decor. Photography and catering I leave to specialists - mytribe routes those separately.
