Cultural & Storytelling Cement Murals for Homes
I bring stories to life on your walls. From village scenes to cultural moments, I hand-sculpt these narratives in 3D cement to turn blank spaces into a piece of history.
A time-lapse of a village scene with a bullock cart. This type of narrative art brings a sense of tradition and history to your home.
A touching mural of a mother carrying one child while holding the hand of another, set against a village backdrop. This piece captures the strength and love of family.
Another view of the mother and children mural, showing the details of their clothing and the background. My goal is to capture emotion and story in cement.
About Cultural & Storytelling Scenes
When I create a storytelling mural, I do not use pre-made molds. I sketch directly on your wall with chalk to plan the composition, then build up the depth using brick and cement, layer by layer. This allows me to capture specific details like the movement of a bullock cart or the emotion in a family scene, ensuring the final sculpture is unique to your specific wall size and space.
My process for these murals is entirely hands-on. Because I work on-site, I can adjust the composition to fit your specific wall architecture, whether it is a compound wall, a feature wall in the living room, or a staircase backdrop.
The Process
For full-wall storytelling, I follow a dual process. First, I do the 3D cement sculpting to create the foreground and background perspective. Once the relief is set, I apply professional exterior-grade primer and weather-proof emulsion paints. This combination of 3D depth and color ensures the scene stands out while remaining durable against sun and rain.
Why Hand-Sculpted?
By carving everything by hand, I can create complex perspectives that flat wall art cannot achieve. Whether you want a scene from village life, a depiction of traditional occupations, or a tribute to cultural stories, I focus on the anatomical details and the texture of the setting.
Practical Details
- Depth: I manage multi-layer perspective, with high-relief foreground figures and lower-relief backgrounds to create a sense of scale.
- Preparation: I include wall preparation, such as chipping the existing surface and applying a cement slurry bond coat, to ensure the mural stays for years.
- Durability: Since I use high-grade cement and river sand, these murals are designed to be permanent installations.
- Support: For high walls, I include labor for scaffolding up to one floor height.
If you have a story in mind or a scene from our culture you want to preserve on your wall, send me the wall dimensions and a reference photo. I will work with you to sketch it out and make it real.
MageshElevations
I treat every mural like it is my own puja, and every wall is my temple. I do not believe in mass production; I only believe in the focus I put into my hand-carved art.
