A Stylist's Diary: Behind the Scenes of Fashion Styling

Welcome to the real, unfiltered side of my world. Styling is not just about the final image, it is about the travel, the hustle, and every little detail that brings a story to life.

Throwback to the Rishikesh work trip. This collage captures the journey, from the "Delhi se Rishikesh flight se kon jata hai yaar?" moment to the beautiful Ganga aarti. It felt less like work and more like a spiritual workation.

A selfie with the lovely Mrunal Thakur after our shoot in Rishikesh. Working with her and the team was an amazing experience.

This was the first time I had a placard with my name waiting for me at the airport. It’s the little things that make the hustle feel so worth it.

Sometimes you just have to dress up for yourself. A little behind-the-scenes from a fun shoot I did, playing with this vibrant pink Mahima Mahajan outfit.

A quiet moment of reflection during the Diwali rush. This job involves a lot of running around, but also moments of calm before the storm.

About this collection

It looks glamorous from the outside, but most of my day involves steaming garments, fixing jewelry pins, and making sure the models are comfortable. When you hire me, you are not just getting an outfit selection. You are getting someone who stays on set until the last shot is wrapped, ensuring that every fold and accessory stays exactly where it should be.

My journey from a statistics background to professional styling has taught me one thing: numbers cannot capture the magic of a perfect visual narrative. Whether I am prepping for a high-concept magazine shoot or a fast-paced commercial advertisement, my approach is grounded in logistics and preparation.

Why I Approach Styling Differently

I treat every project as a story. Whether it is sourcing high-street brands like Zara for e-commerce lookbooks or coordinating couture for an editorial cover, my process remains the same. I start with a detailed mood board, move to garment sourcing, and finish with on-set execution. I am the stylist who is steaming outfits backstage or pinning garments on the spot so the camera captures the perfect angle.

Travel and Logistics

My work keeps me moving between Mumbai and Delhi, but I am always ready to travel pan-India if the project demands it. My work philosophy is simple: Delhi se Rishikesh flight se bhi chale jayenge, bas kaam mast hona chahiye (I will even take a flight from Delhi to Rishikesh if the project is worth it).

Let's Work Together

I handle everything from creative direction and script breakdowns to return logistics for sourced garments. If you need someone who understands the technical side of fashion and brings a creative edge to the set, let's chat. I am currently taking on new projects for:

  • E-commerce catalogues and social media campaigns
  • Editorial magazine shoots
  • Music video costume design
  • Celebrity event and red carpet styling
