My Style Diary: Real Outfits and Unfiltered Styling Tips
Fashion is more than just trends, it is a story. Peek into how I piece together my looks, the hits, the misses, and the real-life hacks that keep my wardrobe fresh without constantly shopping for new clothes.
This isn't my regular fashion post! I discovered this hidden gem, the Raja Nahar Singh Palace, and had to capture the golden hour light. It's a reminder to explore the history around us and, of course, wear a beautiful outfit while doing it.
Not every picture has to be perfect. This is from a day I wore one of my favorite fusion outfits but didn't get a 'decent' picture. I'm sharing it to remind you that social media is a highlight reel, and it's okay to not be perfect.
A look into my summer style. I'm a big fan of linen, and this printed fishtail skirt paired with a classic white shirt gives me an 'old money' vibe that's perfect for a relaxed weekend.
Another shot from the palace, because the sunset was just too beautiful. This is me, enjoying a quiet moment and feeling grateful for these beautiful experiences.
About My Style Diary
You will notice in my diary that I often style the same linen skirts or thrifted jewelry in multiple ways. I don't believe in buying a whole new set for every party. My approach to 'minimal maximalism' means we start by auditing your existing closet to find hidden gems, then we use accessories or different drapes to totally change the vibe. Whether it is a saree date or a casual brunch, we work with what you have to build confidence, not just an outfit.
Why I keep it real
Social media is a highlight reel. If you scroll through these photos, you will see 'perfect' golden hour shots right next to the ones that didn't make the cut. Why? Because I want you to know that the pressure to look flawless 24/7 is not real. My styling philosophy is grounded in this truth: your style is your story. It is about feeling 'clean, crisp, and confident' in your own skin, not chasing algorithms or fleeting fashion trends.
What we can do together
If you have ever stared at a full closet and felt like you have 'nothing to wear,' you are my favorite kind of client. That is usually a symptom of not knowing how to mix and match. Through my personal styling services, we look at your current wardrobe to:
- Repurpose pieces: That heavy saree lying in the back of your cupboard? We can turn it into a fusion look for your next event.
- Apply colour psychology: Learn which shades actually work for Indian skin tones, instead of guessing.
- Master the hacks: I teach you the tiny tricks, like how a belt or a change in jewellery can transition an outfit from a day look to a night baddie aesthetic.
I am not here to tell you to shop until you drop. I am here to help you build a sustainable, budget-friendly wardrobe that actually reflects who you are. We’ll do a deep dive into your lifestyle, your body shape, and your goals. Whether you need a virtual wardrobe audit or a complete style transformation, let's turn your closet into a space that makes you happy.
