The chaos of a shoot day is where the real magic happens. Get a glimpse of my process, from last-minute adjustments to the final frame.

This video captures the fun, fast-paced energy of a last-minute lookbook shoot. It shows me working with the models and team to get the perfect shots for a party wear collection.

This was a super fun project styling for a luxury event. The video shows some of the glamorous evening looks I put together for the attendees and hosts.

A candid shot from behind the scenes of a lookbook shoot. This captures the reality of a set, with lighting equipment and team members working together to create the final polished image.

A candid moment captured on set while I was checking the lighting and frame. I'm wearing a blue floral dress, taking a moment to test a prop phone.

Another shot from the same set, this time a more posed "outfit of the day" moment. It shows my personal style while I'm at work, coordinating shoots and directing creative.

About Behind the Scenes: My Creative Process

Styling is about the micro-adjustments that make a garment sit perfectly, not just picking an outfit. Whether I am using industrial pins to correct a fit or steaming garments minutes before a shoot, my process is entirely hands-on. I am usually behind the lens adjusting cuffs, fixing collars, and ensuring the fabric flow is right for every single angle.

Great campaign visuals are rarely accidental. They are the result of prep, communication, and a lot of fast-paced decision-making on set.

My Creative Process

Before the shoot begins, I dive into moodboards. We align on color palettes, lighting vibes, and pose references so everyone knows the story we are telling. This pre-production phase saves time and ensures the team—photographer, makeup artist, and models—are moving in the same direction from the first shot.

The Reality of On-Set Work

Once we are on set, the real work starts. For e-commerce projects, I handle high-volume styling, covering 30-40 SKUs in an eight-hour shift. This requires rhythm. I use steam ironing for every garment and perform quick changes between frames to keep the momentum high. If it is a campaign shoot, my focus shifts to layering and art direction, working closely with the photographer to make sure the poses and set elements match the brand narrative.

Handling The Unexpected

Every shoot has its share of last-minute hurdles. A garment might not sit right, or a prop might go missing. That is where my stylist kit comes in—fashion tape, bulldog clips, and safety pins are my go-to tools for these moments. I stay on standby between takes to fix minor details, because even a slightly off-center necklace or a loose thread can change how the final image is perceived. If you are looking for a stylist who manages the details while keeping the energy high, let’s talk about your vision.
