My Healing Journey with Crochet

Crochet pulled me out of a dark place when I felt completely lost. Now, I share this magic with you—one stitch at a time.

A rainy day at a college exhibition could have meant zero sales, but instead, I was met with full hearts and empty stock. It was a beautiful reminder that handmade art will always find its people.

A playful take on my passion. What if crochet is addicted to me, and I'm just a victim? This craft is my therapy and my joy.

"Meri Marzi Ki Malkin Hoon main" (I am the queen of my own choices). I started small and scared, but I started. Today, I run a business that I hope empowers other women to follow their dreams. If I can, so can you.

I'm working hard so that one day my kids can proudly say, "Meri Mummy ka business hain" (This is my Mom's business). This is my why, the reason for all the late nights and hustle.

People say crochet is slow or hard, but that's usually said by those who haven't tried. It's a rhythmic, meditative craft that I love teaching to beginners.

What are my working hours? As a small business owner, I work 24/7 to fulfill all orders on time, whether I'm by the pool or by a bonfire.

They told me a crochet business wouldn't work, that it's just a hobby. But with every order shipped across India and worldwide, we are proving them wrong and building a community.

A thank you to my support system. Behind every woman's small business is a family holding her together, and I am so grateful for mine.

This thread saved my mind. This video shares how the repetitive, meditative motion of crochet helped me heal from anxiety when nothing else could.

From a mom with a hook and a dream to a community of 4,000. Thank you to every single person who has supported this journey.

About My Story: Healing Through Crochet

When you commission a piece or join one of my workshops, you are not just getting crochet—you are getting a slow-made item crafted with the same focus that helped me regain my peace. Whether it is a forever bouquet for a loved one or a custom baby set, everything I create is stitched dheeme dheeme (with patience) to ensure it carries that sense of calm.

Crochet is far more than a hobby for me; it is my form of therapy. A few years ago, anxiety made everyday life feel like a struggle, but finding the rhythm of a hook and yarn changed everything. I started my business, Love Crochet Very Much, not just to sell products but to build a community where people can find the same stillness I did.

My studio in Shivajinagar, Bengaluru, is where I craft my signature handmade pieces. I focus on slow-made items, from forever flower bouquets that never wilt to hypoallergenic amigurumi plushies for little ones. Each piece is made from high-quality milk cotton or acrylic yarn, and because I believe in sustainable practices, I ensure my process is zero-waste—saving every scrap of yarn for small crafts like keychains and coasters.

Beyond custom orders, I am deeply passionate about teaching. In my beginner-friendly crochet workshops held in cafes across Bengaluru, I guide participants through their first stitches. It is incredibly rewarding to watch someone go from 'I can’t do this' to 'I made this' in just two hours. My goal is to make this craft accessible to anyone, regardless of skill level. If you are looking for a gift that feels personal or want to learn a new skill that brings focus to your day, I am here to help you get started.
