About Learn With Me: Workshops & Tips

I don't just teach the mechanics of a hook and yarn. In my workshops at cafes around Koramangala and across the city, we slow down. You will learn to read patterns, manage tension, and fix mistakes, but more importantly, you will walk away with a piece you made yourself and a little more peace of mind.

Crochet is often seen as just a hobby, but for me, it is a way to find calm in a busy life. My approach to teaching is 'dheeme dheeme,' which means we do not rush. We start with the basics, focusing on how to hold your hook, simple stitches like chains and single crochets, and how to create even tension.

I offer small group workshops for absolute beginners. These sessions are designed to be low-stress, social, and supportive. You do not need to bring anything; I provide all materials, including hooks and various yarn types like acrylic or cotton, so you can test what feels right for your hands. We cover everything from choosing the right yarn for your project to reading simple patterns.

For those who prefer to learn from home, I share tips on my social channels about different fibers, from the warmth of wool to the durability of linen, helping you understand how materials affect your final piece. If you have ever felt intimidated by complex patterns, my goal is to break that wall down so you can say, 'I made this.' Whether you want to master the perfect border or learn to stitch an amigurumi toy, my sessions are about community, connection, and gaining the confidence to create.
