These sleepy sessions are all about patience, which is why I keep my studio environment calm and temperature-controlled for your baby's safety. I handle all the wrapping and posing using specialized, sanitized fabrics, so you can relax while we capture those tiny features before they change.
The Magic of the Newborn Phase
There is a very small window, usually in the first ten weeks, where babies are still deeply sleepy and comfortable being curled up in those classic, adorable poses. My goal is to capture this pure, quiet magic. Whether it is the curve of a tiny ear, the grip of their fingers, or that peaceful, dreamy look while they sleep, I make sure we have the time to get it right.
Why My Studio Setup Matters
Photography for newborns is not just about the camera. It is about safety and comfort. My studio in Kasturi Nagar is designed with this in mind:
- Climate Control: I use space heaters to keep the area warm, which is essential since babies are often wrapped or unclothed.
- Sanitized Props: From soft, hand-knitted bonnets to organic baskets and rattan beds, everything is cleaned and prepped for sensitive skin.
- Safety First: I use specialized bean bag poses that support the baby's neck and spine. If you are doing a session, I am always right there spotting the baby or using an assistant to ensure total safety.
How to Prepare for Your Session
I offer a range of packages, from a 1-hour Single Theme Mini session to full 4-hour family portraits. If you are looking for the most popular choice, my Classic Triple Theme session provides 3 distinct setups and a framed print to take home.
Since newborn schedules can be unpredictable, I always recommend booking well in advance. This helps us plan the themes and outfits that match your style, whether you prefer simple and white, or colorful and festive. If you cannot make it to my studio, I also offer At-Home Convenience sessions where I bring the portable props and lighting directly to you.
