We structure these sessions to be as low-stress as possible for both parent and child.
Planning Your Theme Whether you have a specific idea like a 'Teddy Bear Picnic' or 'Floral Boho' theme, or you want us to match your party's colors, we plan the setup in advance. Our studio in Haralur is fully equipped with backdrops, 'ONE' letters, bunting, and floor props to create a cohesive look.
The Three-Step Process Every session is broken down into three distinct segments to ensure we get a variety of images:
- Portrait: We start with clean, formal portraits of your baby in their outfit before the mess begins.
- Smash: This is the main event. We bring out the cake, and let your baby explore. This is where we capture the candid reactions, the frosting on the face, and the genuine curiosity.
- Splash: To clean up, we transition to a bubble bath setup. This often produces some of the most playful, happy photos of the entire shoot.
Practical Details
- The Cake: For health and safety reasons, we ask parents to bring the cake. This ensures you have full control over the ingredients if your child has specific allergies or dietary needs.
- Clothing: The studio provides diaper covers or suspenders for the cake smash portion. You bring your baby's preferred formal outfit for the opening portraits.
- Turnaround: You will receive 20 professionally edited, high-resolution digital images within 2-3 weeks of the shoot, along with a 'Before & After' collage of the messy fun.
