When I plan family sessions, I focus on the chaos and the fun rather than perfectly stiff poses. We often incorporate paint, props, or just let your toddler run wild, because that is where the real joy lives. If you have a specific concept in mind—like a paint-smashing session or a silhouette with your pet—just let me know beforehand so I can prep the studio props accordingly.
Family portraits during your maternity phase are about more than just the bump. It is about documenting the anticipation you all share before the new arrival. Whether you are bringing your partner, your firstborn, or a furry friend, my goal is to keep the energy relaxed and genuine.
For families with older children, I recommend bringing along their favorite snacks or a comfort toy, as it helps them stay happy and engaged throughout our time in the Whitefield studio. If you are interested in a paint session or other messy, playful themes, we will handle that in a way that is easy to clean up so you do not have to stress.
We can incorporate various elements into your session, from silhouette shots with your pet to classic interaction poses with your partner. Please keep in mind that including extra family members or pets requires a slight adjustment to our studio package to account for the extra prep and time.
