You might wonder how we get those sleepy newborn shots or dreamy maternity poses. It is not magic, it is just patience and plenty of tea breaks. Whether we are adjusting the lighting in my KR Puram studio or finding the right angle for a saree drape, I prioritize your comfort above everything else so the session feels like a visit with a friend.
My Approach to Photography
People often ask what happens behind the camera during a maternity or newborn session. For me, it starts with making sure you feel at home. Whether you are coming to my studio at Skylark Arcadia or we are heading out for a shoot, the process is built on connection.
The Studio Experience
When you visit the studio, we do not rush. Newborns need time to feed and settle, and moms need to feel relaxed to truly glow. I prepare the props, set the lighting, and get the gowns ready so you just have to show up. I use natural and soft artificial light to highlight those intimate moments without harsh, distracting flashes.
Why Process Matters
Photography is technical, but the result is emotional. I focus on posing that looks natural rather than stiff. If you choose a traditional saree session, we take the time to get the pleats and drapes perfect. If it is a creative edit with angel wings or fantasy themes, I spend time post-session ensuring the colors and lighting match that dreamy vision you had in your head.
Your Comfort is Key
I do not provide makeup on-site because I prefer to work with artists who know your skin, though I can suggest trusted names. My goal is to ensure you are not just getting photos, but a stress-free experience. When you see the final gallery, I want you to remember the laughter and the quiet joy of that day, not just the posing.
