Our Featured Artworks and Classes
A look at what we create at Liger Art Academy. From detailed portraits to large-scale sculptures, see the variety of art and skills we teach at our Kalkaji studio.
This large-scale Lord Shiva sculpture, shown here in its clay modeling stage, is an example of the advanced sculptural work we undertake. It showcases the level of detail and anatomical precision taught in our specialized sculpture workshops.
A close-up look at an expressive floral painting coming to life. This piece demonstrates the use of thick acrylics and a vibrant palette to create texture and depth, a technique we explore in our advanced painting classes.
Students deeply focused during a portrait sketching class. Here, they are learning to capture facial features and proportions from a reference photo, a core skill for any aspiring artist.
A collaborative wall mural in progress, painted by some of my younger students. This project shows how we encourage teamwork and creativity on a large scale, turning a plain wall into a vibrant field of flowers.
Watch the process of building up layers with oil pastels to create this colorful macaw. This time-lapse shows how we teach blending and layering techniques to achieve realistic textures and brilliant colors.
A direct message from me, Rakesh Ranjan. I explain our fine arts diploma program and invite you to book a demo session to experience the academy firsthand at our Kalkaji studio.
About Featured
When you walk into the studio, you notice the atmosphere is about doing, not just watching. Whether you are tackling a complex clay relief or a simple pastel sketch, you receive direct, hands-on feedback on your technique, rather than just generic praise.
I built Liger Art Academy to be a space where art is something you practice, not just admire. My studio in Kalkaji isn't about rigid theory; it is about getting your hands dirty and figuring out how to express yourself.
We structure our programs to fit different goals. If you are serious about art as a career, our multi-year diploma program dives into anatomy, advanced oil techniques, and charcoal realism, while also helping you curate a portfolio for college applications.
If you are a hobbyist or looking for a weekend activity, our foundation courses cover the basics of line, color, and form using graphite, oil pastels, and watercolors. For those who enjoy building things, we have dedicated sessions for 3D clay modeling and relief art.
We keep our batch sizes small so that you get actual mentorship. Mistakes are part of the process here, and we encourage you to experiment with your mediums until you find your own style. Whether you are a total beginner or an experienced artist, you can book a demo session to see the studio, meet us, and start creating.
