About Behind the Scenes & More
Mehndi is more than a service for me, it is a blessing I wake up to every day. When you watch me work, you are seeing years of practice, from mastering the perfect henna mix to the steady, rhythmic application of fine lines that make up a traditional jharokha or mandala design.
Whether I am working on a bridal commission or teaching a new student at my studio in Goregaon West, my approach remains the same, it is about precision and connection. I prepare my own organic henna paste, ensuring it is triple-sifted and mixed with essential oils like eucalyptus and clove for that deep, rich stain. This is a crucial step that many overlook, but it makes all the difference in the final result.
For large wedding events, I do not work alone. I bring my trained team so that we can handle guest mehndi efficiently without sacrificing quality. We focus on speed for the guests and intricate detailing for the bride. I often get asked about the symbols I use—the elephants, lotuses, and peacocks you see in my gallery are not just random choices. They are classic motifs that I have refined over the years to fit everything from modern Arabic patterns to heavy, traditional bridal pieces.
If you are curious about learning this art, I also run small-batch workshops where I teach everything from cone rolling to shading techniques. My goal is to share this craft that has given me so much. If you like the detailed look of my work, feel free to reach out to discuss your event requirements.
