A collection of my most loved work, spanning everything from intricate bridal storytelling to delicate Arabic patterns and modern mandalas for any celebration.

This is my specialty, bringing your story to life with portrait mehndi. Here, I've captured the beautiful sindoor and varmala ceremony moments, creating a design that is deeply personal and a cherished memory for the bride.

A complete bridal story told on the hands. This design features detailed portraits of the couple, surrounded by traditional wedding symbols like Lord Ganesha, a doli, shehnai, and kalash, making it a true narrative piece.

Bridal foot mehndi requires both precision and artistry. This design combines classic rose motifs with geometric patterns and delicate peacock figures, ensuring the bride looks stunning from head to toe.

The final stain is everything. This photo shows the rich, dark reddish-brown color my natural henna develops into after 24 hours, a testament to the quality of the paste I prepare for every client.

I love creating unique patterns like this jharokha-style grid. Each square is filled with a delicate elephant motif, combining architectural inspiration with traditional animal figures for a truly standout design.

Celebrating a new beginning with a special baby shower mehndi. This design features a "Baby On The Way" message with a mother-to-be figure, surrounded by beautiful floral and traditional patterns to bless the occasion.

The beauty of a mandala lies in its perfect symmetry. This intricate design features a central floral mandala that expands outwards, with detailed patterns on the fingers and a complementary cuff design.

For those who love elegance, my Arabic designs are a perfect choice. This pattern features a graceful, flowing vine of paisleys and florals, creating a beautiful adornment without full coverage.

A classic peacock design for the feet. This pattern highlights the majestic bird, with its feathers flowing gracefully over the toes, perfect for brides or for any festive occasion.

This is a classic full-coverage bridal design. I've used a mix of bold outlines and delicate, fine-line shading to create depth, incorporating traditional motifs like paisleys and florals that extend up the arm.

About Featured

When choosing your design, consider the level of coverage that fits your event. For bridal work, I offer everything from classic, non-figurative patterns that focus on traditional symmetry to heavy, intricate portrait designs that narrate your personal love story. I suggest booking at least two weeks ahead for bridal dates so we have enough time to discuss your specific preferences and layout.

My work is defined by the belief that henna is a blessing. Whether I am working on a small pooja at home or a large wedding, my priority is the quality of the stain and the precision of the design.

My Design Process

  • Portrait and Storytelling: I use fine-line techniques to create bride and groom portraits, ceremony scenes, or custom symbols like your wedding date or love story elements. This requires a longer sitting time, usually 6 to 8 hours.
  • Classic Bridal: Focused on deep, traditional filling. I use triple-sifted, organic henna mixed with eucalyptus and clove oils to ensure that deep, dark reddish-brown color that stays for days.
  • Guest and Party Mehndi: For siders and family members, I offer everything from minimalist Arabic vines to quick, dense floral fillers. My team joins me for larger events to ensure no guest is left waiting.

Beyond Weddings

I also love creating mehndi for baby showers (godh bharai), Karva Chauth, and Diwali. I take great pride in keeping my art authentic to the traditions I was taught, while always adapting to your personal style. If you are interested in learning, I conduct practical classes at my studio in Goregaon where I teach everything from cone rolling to advanced shading techniques.

Hi, I am Leena. Mehndi is my blessing and my kala (art). I love helping brides tell their love stories through portrait henna, but I am just as happy doing quick, fun Arabic designs for guests at a pooja or a baby shower.
