About Our Journey: 15 Years of LDI
We didn't start with a fancy studio; we started with a couple of pairs of shoes and a whole lot of rhythm. When you look at these photos, don't just see the awards or the performances—look at the mistakes and the messy practice sessions that happened in between. That is the real LDI way, and it is exactly how we approach every class we teach today.
For the past 15 years, our lives have revolved around the rhythm of Salsa, Bachata, and Kizomba. What started in 2007 as a personal obsession with Latin dance quickly transformed into a mission to bring that same joy to others in Bangalore. We spent years traveling to international congresses, learning from the best, and pushing our own limits on the competition circuit.
But the real magic wasn't the trophies—it was the community. When we opened Latin Dance India, we wanted a space where people felt comfortable enough to mess up, laugh, and find their own groove. Whether you see us in our early photoshoot days or performing at our 'Step Up' 15th Anniversary Special, the core of our story remains the same: we believe in building confident social dancers.
We focus on teaching you the 'why' behind the move, not just the steps. We teach in professional studios across Koramangala and Kalyan Nagar, where we focus on technique, partner connection, and musicality. We have been through every phase of this dance journey, including keeping the vibe alive during the pandemic lockdowns with home-based practice sessions.
