Our Journey: How We Became Layaanusaara
We started with a simple rhythm and a lot of energy. This is how we evolved from our first stage steps into the team that keeps your events moving.
The story behind our name, Layaanusaara, which means "according to the rhythm". We believe everything in the universe has a rhythm, and our mission is to dance to it.

About Our Journey
The shift from Dancepidemic to Layaanusaara was more than a rebranding. It was a conscious choice to align our work with our belief that everything, from a heartbeat to a stage act, has its own rhythm. While we still thrive in the high-pressure environment of state-level dance competitions like Just Dance 2019, we apply that same professional discipline to every Sangeet or corporate event we take on.
Our story began in Bengaluru with a simple goal: to make dance accessible and raw. We started out as Dancepidemic, cutting our teeth at stages like Miss Glam India 2018. That initial exposure taught us how to command an audience, but we wanted more depth.
We eventually renamed ourselves Layaanusaara, which translates to 'as per the rhythm.' This reflects our philosophy that dance is less about technical perfection and more about stamina, emotion, and feeling alive.
Our competition experience, particularly winning runner-up in the Solo Classical category at Just Dance 2019, defined our technical foundation. Whether we are performing Bharathanatyam fusion or high-energy Bollywood numbers, we bring that competitive-grade precision to your event. We believe you don't need years of training to enjoy moving, but when you hire us for a performance, you get a team that treats your stage like a competition finale.
