You don't need a partner, rhythm, or fancy shoes to start your Salsa journey. Just show up as you are, and we'll handle the rest, from your first step to owning the social dance floor.

The secret sauce to clean turns is breaking down the technique. Here, we're working on check turns with our beginner students, focusing on rotation and finishing in the corners. We build confident dancers one solid step at a time.

Look at our beginner stars shine. It’s amazing to see them progress from their first steps to getting ready for the social dance floor. This could be you.

It’s raw, unpolished, and full of excitement. This is the beginning of a journey, where the courage to try something new turns into the joy of dancing. It’s not about perfection, it’s about that first spark of growth.

We love watching our beginners bloom. This is our batch at the Kamanahalli center, growing in confidence with every step and smile. The power of teaching is seeing our students find their groove.

From "Where do I put my feet?" to "Let's go social dancing!" Our beginners are officially salsa-ing their way into the scene, and we couldn't be prouder of their progress.

This is where the joy takes the lead. Whether it’s the rhythm, the new friends, or leaving worries behind, dance is the ultimate shortcut to happiness. Here are our students, straight from class.

A look back at our students' journey in 2024. Their passion, commitment, and dedication inspire us every day and keep us motivated to do what we love.

A solid start makes all the difference. We take immense pride in the dedication and progress our students bring to every step. Here's our Level 1 batch, ready for the social dance floor.

Another group of happy faces wrapping up their Salsa Level 1 course. We're not just teaching steps; we're building the foundation for strong, confident dancers who will shape our community.

That feeling of accomplishment after finishing the first level. This group is ready to take on the world, or at least the social dance floor. So proud of this batch.

About Salsa for Beginners: Your First Steps

We use mandatory partner rotation in every class. It might feel a bit intimidating at first, but it is actually the fastest way to learn connection and get comfortable dancing with different people, rather than just relying on one partner.

Most people walk into our studio thinking they have two left feet, but the truth is, you just need a little practice and the right environment. We break down Salsa technique into pieces that actually make sense, focusing on lead and follow mechanics so you can move smoothly without constantly worrying about your feet.

Our classes are held in spaces like Koramangala, Indiranagar, and Kaikondrahalli, and we keep batch sizes small, around 15 to 25 students, to make sure everyone gets personalized feedback. You don't need to bring a partner—in fact, we prefer you don't. Our partner rotation system ensures you dance with everyone, which is the secret to becoming a confident social dancer.

We aren't here to teach you rigid, robotic steps. We want you to feel the music, have a laugh when you mess up, and leave the stress of the week behind. After the 8-hour structured syllabus, you will be floor-ready for socials. If you are not ready for a month-long commitment, check out our weekend crash courses to test the waters. Whatever you choose, our goal is the same: to get you dancing, meeting new people, and enjoying the process.

Hey, we're Sai and Kirthi. We started LDI to create a dance fam where messing up is part of the fun, not a reason to quit. If you're looking for a place to let loose, learn real technique, and meet your new people, you're in the right place.
