Our exhibition stall at the Darc Build expo, featuring a fully realized container unit. The prominent "Kumar & Associates" branding sits atop the structure, which showcases our capabilities in creating stylish and modern container homes, offices, and cafes.
A different perspective of our expo display, emphasizing the angled window frames and the seamless integration of indoor and outdoor spaces. The potted plants in the foreground suggest how these units can be complemented with landscaping to create a welcoming atmosphere.
We believe in letting our work speak for itself. Here, a group of attendees gathers to inspect the construction and design details of our display unit, a testament to the hands-on experience we provide to demonstrate our commitment to quality.
The steady flow of visitors throughout the event highlights the significant interest in sustainable and modular building solutions. Our team was on hand to discuss custom container house designs and answer technical questions about insulation, materials, and durability.

About Industry Showcase at Darc Build Expo
During the Darc Build Expo, we focused on demonstrating the actual build quality of our container structures. The unit displayed was not just a shell; it featured high-density thermal insulation and double-glazed windows, designed to maintain a comfortable temperature inside regardless of the weather outside.
The Darc Build Expo allowed us to move beyond digital blueprints and show how a shipping container transforms into a functional, permanent space. When people walk into our units, the most common question is about the heat and the feel of the walls. We address this using 50mm high-density Rockwool or Glasswool insulation between the container wall and the interior cement fiber board. This creates a thermal break that keeps the interior stable, whether it is installed in a city office or a rural farmhouse.
At the expo, we highlighted several key features of our construction process:
- Structural Integrity: Every unit we build is reinforced with steel framing for all cutouts, ensuring that windows and doors do not compromise the container's structural strength.
- Interior Finishing: We use cement fiber boards rather than traditional drywall, providing a solid, impact-resistant interior that can handle heavy usage, whether as a cafe or a modular office.
- Glass and Light: The double-glazed units we installed provide soundproofing and temperature control while maximizing natural light, which is crucial for smaller modular spaces.
We design for the Indian climate. Our units are treated with marine-grade, anti-corrosion paint to handle humidity and heavy rain, ensuring that a project built for an expo or a site office remains durable for years. Whether you need a 20ft studio cabin or a 40ft high-cube suite, we apply the same technical standards to every build.
