About Unique Thread Art
These aren't just prints. Every piece is a slow, manual process where I layer cotton or silk threads to build up the image, mimicking brush strokes. Because it is all done by hand, expect a 3D texture that catches light differently than a flat painting. If you are planning to commission one, keep in mind that the depth and detail require a specific frame style to protect the thread work, which I handle as part of the setup.
Thread painting is about patience. Unlike a brushstroke, you are placing individual strands to mimic shading and light. It gives a sculptural quality that a flat canvas just cannot match. When I start an A1 piece, it takes anywhere between 25 to 40 hours of focused effort.

Once the thread work is done, I seal it with a light fixative to ensure the colors stay vibrant and prevent dust accumulation, then finish it with a deep, custom box frame designed to hold the depth of the art.
