What I Make
- Portraits: From your photo or a live portrait sketch session. Oils, acrylics, pencil - you choose.
- Bangalore Cityscape Painting: I paint on the streets, capturing places like Cubbon Park or market corners. Your favourite spot? I’ll paint it.
- Mandala & Zentangle: Intricate black and white patterns, often framed. Animals, flowers, even deities like Ganesh.
- Thread Art Commission: Not your usual. I use colourful threads for textured portraits or designs - looks pretty unique on any wall.
How We Work
I use oil, acrylics, watercolours, pencil, charcoal, and thread. Sizes vary from tiny A5s to big A1s. Most pieces come framed, ready to hang. Some days, the process is tough (kamar kasna padta hai - need to brace yourself), but the final piece means a lot. That’s real happiness for me.

My Story
Hey, I’m Kum Kum Art. Art is my soul, my way to scrub off the dust of daily life. I graduated from Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath, but you’ll mostly spot me painting out there, on a street corner or Cubbon Park bench. Sometimes my nanu (grandpa) holds an umbrella for me while I paint under the hot sun - those moments are gold. Missed posting for a bit, life happens, but I’m back with my paints. All I want is to make my world colourful.
