About this collection

Nanna masterclass alli sumne nododu illa, hands-on practice is compulsory. Whether you are learning to mould fingers or mastering alcohol palettes for deep cuts, you do it yourself under my guidance. Real SFX isn't about watching a video; it's about feeling the latex, wax, and silicone in your hands to understand the texture, depth, and chemistry of how skin reacts.

I designed this 3-day advanced workshop for students who are serious about SFX, not just collecting a certificate. We move past basic tutorials into the technical side of the industry.

The Rajkrish Lab Approach

We don't just apply makeup. You will learn the science behind product chemistry, why certain adhesives work on specific skin types, and how to maintain safety with alcohol-activated palettes. I teach anatomy so you understand how a muscle moves under a prosthetic, ensuring your 'horror' or 'injury' look doesn't tear or peel under studio lights.

What You Will Actually Do

  • Day 1 (Foundations): We start with character makeup, aging effects, and bruise evolution. You learn to read the skin and create textures that look real, not painted.
  • Day 2 (Advanced Trauma): This is where we handle bullet wounds, burnt skin, and eyebrow blocking. We get into mold making and prosthetic application techniques that professional sets demand.
  • Day 3 (Prosthetics & Mastery): We focus on deep cuts, finger moulding, and advanced alcohol palette layering. This is the stage where you combine everything to create a seamless, believable character.

Beyond the Class

My goal is your career. During the sessions, I talk about product sourcing, dealing with agencies, and how to build a portfolio that gets you hired in film or TV. Whether you are interested in movie makeup, prosthetic character design, or high-end event SFX, this course gives you the technical ground to stand on. Classes are held at my studio in RR Nagar, where we focus on real-world application rather than theory.

Nanu Rajkrish. I believe skill is what sets a true artist apart from someone just following trends. In my lab, we don't just apply makeup; we understand the chemistry and anatomy behind it, whether it's a simple scratch or a complex prosthetic transformation.
