If you have a large kitchen area, a C-shaped or U-shaped layout is the gold standard for efficiency. My team focuses on the work triangle—the flow between your stove, sink, and fridge. We do not just dump cabinets into the space; we use magic corners or pull-out units so you actually use that deep corner storage. Most people lose that square footage to dead space, but I make sure every inch is accessible.

In a large kitchen, walking back and forth wastes time and energy. These layouts minimize movement. If you have the space, an island or a breakfast counter, like the ones we have installed in Malad, can act as a natural bridge between your cooking area and the living room.

- No Dead Corners: I see too many kitchens where the corner space is wasted. I use articulated trays or Lemans corner units to ensure that deep corner is fully usable storage.
- Hardware Matters: At this scale, the weight of your drawers and doors is higher. That is why I strictly use Blum or Häfele for these larger setups. If the hinges are not premium, a U-shaped kitchen will start sagging within two years. My setups have lasted over eight years because we calibrate the weight distribution from day one.
- Design Finishes: With more surface area, the finish choice—whether back-painted glass or matt acrylic—really changes the room's temperature. We map out the lighting during the 3D phase so those under-cabinet LED profiles highlight your counters, not shadows.
