Kyorugi is where theory turns into reality. We focus on high-intensity, Olympic-style sparring using full protective gear to build the speed, precision, and fighting intelligence needed to dominate a match.

Young students in full protective gear, including hogu (chest guard) and headgear, practicing Dolyo Chagi (turning kick). We prepare them for real match situations.

Students practice movement and kicking combinations during a Kyorugi drill. Constant motion and quick reactions are key to sparring success.

Black belt students practice kicking a target pad. These drills are for developing power and accuracy in our strikes for competitive sparring.

Students practice continuous kicking drills on pads. This builds stamina and muscle memory, allowing them to attack relentlessly in a match.

A student executes a powerful kick against a shield held by a partner. This drill simulates the impact of a real fight and builds offensive power.

We focus on proper technique for every kick. Here, students practice their kicks on a target, ensuring they develop both power and precision.

A black belt student practices a turning kick on a hand target. This drill sharpens accuracy for scoring points in a competition.

About this collection

We don't spar just for fun. Every Kyorugi session uses full Hogu (chest guard) and headgear to mimic real match scenarios, forcing you to master distance, footwork, and electronic scoring points under pressure. You will sweat, you will get tired, and you will learn to fight smart.

Precision Under Pressure

In our Kyorugi program, the goal is not just to attack, but to strike with purpose. Sparring is the ultimate test of your technique, where all the Poomsae forms and basic kicks you have practiced must come together in a split second. We utilize traditional training methods combined with modern match simulation.

What We Focus On

  • Distance Management: Learning to stay out of range while setting up your own attack.
  • Footwork & Agility: Using ladder drills and plyometrics so your feet are faster than your opponent’s.
  • Electronic Scoring Strategy: Mastering the specific contact and force required to register points in modern electronic hogu systems.
  • Conditioning: You cannot fight if you cannot breathe. We push stamina through high-rep drills so you remain aggressive until the final buzzer.

The Training Environment

We train in a traditional, non-AC dojang in HRBR Layout. The environment is deliberate. We keep it rugged to build mental toughness. When we strap on the protective gear, the objective is to simulate the stress of a real competition. You will face opponents of varying skill levels to ensure you learn how to handle different fighting styles, from the defensive counter-fighter to the relentless aggressor. Whether you are aiming for district selection or just want to improve your combat reflex, expect to put in the work. No short cuts, no excuses.
