When we strip away colour, we are left with the raw geometry of the pregnancy shape and the subtle interplay of shadow on your skin. These sessions are perfect if you want a look that feels more like fine art than a standard shoot; it is just you, your partner, and the quiet beauty of this phase.
Black and white photography requires a specific approach to lighting that I have perfected in my Malyana studio. By using precision lighting, I carefully manage shadows to accentuate the curve of the bump and the softness of your features. It is a deliberate choice to remove the distraction of bright patterns or busy backdrops. By working with high-contrast monochrome, we shift the focus away from outfits and bring it entirely to the connection between you and your partner.

I use a Sony A7R3 system to ensure every texture is captured with sharp, distinct quality.
