Featured Bridal and Custom Ensembles
A curated look at my favorite moments, ranging from red-carpet gowns to traditional silk sarees that feel like home.
This is the feeling I want every bride to have. The moment you see yourself, radiant and timeless in a classic Kanjeevaram silk saree, ready for your big day. This gorgeous bride is wearing a custom red and gold saree with an intricately hand-embroidered puff sleeve blouse.
For your Sangeet or reception, we can create something truly magical. I designed this vibrant red floral lehenga with a modern strapless bustier for a look that is both bold and joyful, perfect for dancing the night away.
The magic is in the details. This is a close-up of a hand-embroidered blouse for a lilac Langa Dhavani, featuring delicate zardosi, beadwork, and floral motifs that bring the entire outfit to life. I believe the blouse is the heart of the ensemble.
A bride’s smile is my greatest reward. This bride chose an elegant off-white Kanjeevaram silk saree with a rich emerald green border and a matching embroidered puff-sleeve blouse, proving that you don't need red to be a classic bride.
I love to blend tradition with a touch of modern style. This Langa Dhavani features a unique corset-style back on the blouse, adding a contemporary twist to a classic South Indian silhouette. The combination of green, red, and orange is just so full of life.
It was an honor to design this elegant white cape gown for the lovely Sapthami Gowda. We wanted a look that was powerful and graceful, and this custom creation was perfect for her award-winning moment on the red carpet.
Your story, stitched in thread. This client is a cat lover, so I embroidered her beloved pet, Kumbha, onto her blouse using golden zardosi work. It’s these personal touches that make an outfit uniquely yours.
This is what it's all about. Pure, uninhibited joy. I love creating outfits for fun-loving brides who embrace every moment of their wedding day. This candid shot captures the spirit of a beautiful South Indian wedding ceremony.
About Featured
Even if you are miles away in the US or Dubai, we connect through video calls to choose fabrics and swatches together. I have worked with brides who only see their final outfit moments before the ceremony, and the process remains collaborative, transparent, and intensely personal from that first design sketch to the final trial.
My design philosophy at Kalasthree is built on the belief that clothing is a medium for memories. Whether it is a traditional Kanjeevaram silk saree for your muhurtham or a modern lehenga for a cocktail night, the focus is always on your story. I obsess over the small details, like the hand-embroidered motifs on blouses that mirror your personality—from a favorite bird to a pet cat.
These featured pieces represent the diversity of my work in Bengaluru. We move between classic reds, contemporary pastels, and even minimalist white gowns. For my Langa Dhavani creations, I often upcycle heirloom Kanjeevaram sarees, giving them a second life that honors the fabric's history while feeling fresh for a new celebration.
We offer multiple fitting sessions to ensure the canvas reinforcement and padding are perfect, whether you choose a signature heavy bridal blouse or a bespoke lehenga set. The goal is a look that feels authentic to you, not just a costume.
