Online Art & Creativity Camps for Kids
Creativity knows no boundaries. My online camps bring the Kalarang experience to children globally, making learning playful and pressure-free from the comfort of your home.
A screenshot from one of our online classes with students from all over Maharashtra. It's wonderful to see them connect, share their oil pastel drawings, and build a creative community from their own homes.
This video montage shows the blend of my online and offline classes. Whether on Zoom or sitting on the floor together, the goal is the same: to enjoy the therapeutic process of creating with watercolors and other media.
About Our Global Classroom: Online Art Camps
These online sessions aren't just about finishing a drawing; I design them specifically for ages 7-12, keeping batch sizes small (6-10 kids) so every child gets individual attention. Whether we are exploring Australian Dot Art or Zentangle-inspired doodles, my focus is on 'process over product'—helping kids build focus and emotional intelligence in a live, interactive environment.
Why Join Our Global Classroom?
My online camps are designed to be a safe, creative haven. Unlike pre-recorded courses, these are live Zoom sessions where interaction is key. Children from India, the US, and Canada join the same virtual room, sharing stories and art as they create.
What We Explore
The curriculum is built for holistic growth. We cover:
- Global Folk Art: From Indian traditions like Warli and Madhubani to Australian Dot Art and African masks, kids learn about diverse cultures through their own hands.
- Mindfulness & Doodles: We use Zentangle-inspired patterns and focused drawing exercises to help kids improve their concentration and relieve stress.
- Technique Building: Lessons in using oil pastels and watercolors effectively, taught in a way that is easy to follow on screen.
The Practical Details
- Format: 10-day intensive courses, live via Zoom.
- Class Size: Kept small (6-10 students) to ensure every child gets the encouragement they need to explore.
- What You Need: Since these are virtual, parents will need to procure basic stationery like A4 sheets, oil pastels, watercolors, and markers.
- The Outcome: Hum sirf draw nahi karte (We don't just draw); we learn to express ourselves. Expect your child to build creative confidence and emotional intelligence.
