My Professional Dance Portfolio
Welcome to my world! These photos capture my movement, my energy, and the art I live for every single day. ✨
A favorite shot from a recent photoshoot. This dynamic kick pose captures the power and energy I strive for in my dancing, set against a bold red background.
The same powerful pose, but in black and white. This version highlights the lines, shadows, and raw emotion of the movement.
A quiet, expressive moment from a photoshoot. The play of light and shadow here adds a different mood, showing the softer, more introspective side of my artistry.
Another look from my photoshoot, focusing on posture and presence. The lighting creates a beautiful silhouette, emphasizing the lines of the body.
The black and white version of a serene, introspective pose. Removing the color allows the focus to be entirely on the emotion and the form.
A black and white take on a dynamic, high-kick pose. The contrast highlights the shape and energy of the movement against the stark background.
A strong and confident pose in black and white. This profile shot captures a sense of focus and determination.
A powerful pose from one of my favorite photoshoots in Bombay. This black and white image captures the strength and grace I aim for in my dance.
The color version of a strong, upward-reaching pose. This shot feels full of energy and aspiration, reflecting my journey as a dancer.
A close-up shot in black and white, focusing on expression and artistry. The hands frame the face, drawing attention to the performance aspect of dance.
About The Artist's Portfolio
Capturing these shots was not about just posing for the camera, it was about holding the exact tension of a kick or the softness of a silhouette. I collaborate with creators who understand rhythm, so we are not just taking pictures, we are freezing the precise energy of a move.
For me, dance is about storytelling. When I work with people like Devasmita Sharma on these shoots in Bombay, the goal is to translate that feeling from the stage to the frame. Whether it is a sharp, high-energy kick or an introspective portrait, I treat photography with the same discipline I bring to my jazz classes at Big Dance Centre.
My training is rooted in rhythm, technique, and core strength. When I am teaching my group batches or working on private choreography, I am looking for that same presence and confidence you see in these photos. My process is always collaborative. If you are looking for a performer who understands the camera, or a teacher who emphasizes performance quality and technique in equal measure, this is how I show up. I am constantly pushing myself, falling, and getting back up, because that is where the growth actually happens. Let us create something real.
