About Dog Training for Shows & Media
We treat every dog like family, whether they’re learning to shine in front of a camera or nailing it in the show ring. At K9 Gurukul, the real work starts with understanding each dog’s quirks and energy. If your goal is to see your dog on the big screen or winning trophies, that’s where we come in.
Training for the Spotlight
- We’ve prepped dogs for Bollywood, Kannada movies, ads, and even public safety shorts. Our pack has worked with stars like Vicky Kaushal and Sanya Malhotra, and one of our boys, Simba, made it big in Kannada cinema.
- Media shoots can be chaotic, but our dogs are cool and focused, trained to handle loud sets and tight schedules.
- Building a bond between the dog and human actors is a must - we don’t skip on that part.
Ready for the Show Ring
- We train for more than just looks - competitive obedience and the right attitude matter most.
- Our dogs have bagged medals at places like the Ooty and Karavali Dog Shows.
- We offer hands-on dog show handling skills so your dog doesn’t just enter, but stands out.
Our Way
- It’s all about positive reinforcement. No harsh stuff, just building trust and confidence.
- Every champion with us, from Tyson the Rottweiler to Rocky the star, is proof that love and proper training go hand in hand.
If you want your dog prepped for the media or ready for the next big show, we know what it takes.

My Story
At K9 Gurukul, we’re not just a dog training place, we’re a big family. Dogs, humans, all together – celebrating birthdays, Friendship Day, sometimes just because. Our Simba even became a movie star in 'Naanu Matthu Gunda 2' (yeah, he dubbed for himself!). But it’s not only about the spotlight. We run adoption drives, rescue streeties, and yes, we cry when our dogs leave us. This is our life with dogs – full circle, all heart.
